CC-DRIVER was presented at the Cybertech Global UAE – Dubai 2021 conference that has been held from 5-7 April 2021 in Dubai by its partner Valencia Local Police. This renowned international exhibition and conference is the largest networking event for the cyber industry outside of the U.S. Consisting of a grand exhibition hall and a cutting-edge conference, Cybertech Global hosts hundreds of companies, startups, government entities, police forces and organizations from countries worldwide. It provides attendees and companies alike with a unique opportunity to network, strengthen existing alliances and form new ones—all while becoming acquainted with the latest innovations and solutions from the international cyber community.
High-level speakers from all over the world have participated in this 8th edition, such as General David H. Petraeus (Ex-Director of the CIA), Wesley K. Clark (former NATO), or Tamir Pardo (Ex-Chief of Mossad). From the European Commission, the Head of Cybersecurity and Digital Privacy Police was present, among others.
CC-DRIVER has been presented, together with its sister project RAYUELA, in the “Smart Building, Smart Cities, Smart Nations” session on 6 April. This session focused on the technological aspects and cybersecurity in smart cities. CC-DRIVER and RAYUELA have been introduced as clear examples of EU research projects facing European challenges on cybercrime and security of smart cities.
Valencia Local Police has also taken the opportunity to present CC-DRIVER to the media and to the Dubai Police Force.
